What is ABA/IBI?

ABA Therapy

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis. ABA uses therapeutic interventions to help individuals with different needs improve in various areas such as communication, social skills development, emotional regulation, life skills and behavior modification.

IBI Therapy

IBI stands for Intense Behavioral Intervention. IBI involves intense, individualized behavior management plans to address various skills and needs. IBI typically involves a high frequency of sessions, with several hours, multiple days a week. The intensity and duration are designed to produce significant and lasting improvements in skills.

Why ABA/IBI?

ABA/IBI are widely used and valued for several reasons:

Evidence-Based Effectiveness

ABA and IBI are backed by extensive research demonstrating its effectiveness in improving a wide range of behaviors and skills, particularly well-established in it's success with individuals wit Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

ABA and IBI rely on data collection and analysis to track progress, measure the effectiveness of interventions, and make data-informed decisions. This helps ensure that the strategies used are working and allows for adjustments if necessary.

Data-Driven

ABA and IBI interventions are tailored to meet specific needs of each individual. This personalization ensures that the goals are relevant and effective for the person being treated.
